[PLAYING THE GAME WE CREATED]

Question:

I have always loved your book "You Can Have it All" and re-read it many times! Could you please clarify something for me?

What's the difference between putting effort into something you want to happen and letting go and not controlling the outcome?

For instance: Planning your day. Wouldn't it be helpful to write down the goals you have and work toward achieving them each day or is it best to let the day unfold without planning anything at all?

My confusion is this. Isn't our time here on earth for us to do with what we want to? Or should we just let things happen because it was "meant" to. Are certain things pre-arranged to happen because we need to learn from that experience or has an event occurred because we brought it to us in the present?

I thank you for any response you can give!

Answer:

What inspired you to read YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL? What prodded you to send me this e-mail with your question? The answer is your Infinite Intelligence. Every experience that you have is something you have created.

If you choose to have the experience of planning your day, that's fine. If you allow your day to unfold, that is the perfect experience for you to have. You can't make a mistake or do something wrong.

The next question is, "What is the purpose of having an experience here on earth, what we call a human experience?"

I have written a book called THE JOURNEY to answer that question. The answer will surprise you; but it will be a pleasant surprise.

We are all familiar with our human selves, our own creations. However, in the process, we have hidden our real Selves -- an extraordinary Presence. Expanding our awareness of this powerful and abundant Self is the next part of our journey.

The consciousness on the planet is expanding, inspiring more of us to search for our true Selves. What we find is beyond anything we can imagine. This is a fun time to be here playing the game we created together.
